Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • Two Highers in Maths and English and two Standard Grades or (National Equivalent) at Grade 3 or above in Science/Craft or a relevant subject
  • Successful completion of the NC Level 6 Fabrication and Welding programme
  • Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

Further Study

  • HNC Computer Aided Draughting and Design
  • Non-Destructive Testing (employer or self-funded)

Career Opportunities

Successful completion within this specialised area can lead to Incorporated Engineer level, including the specialisation in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
