Course Overview

This one day course is designed to inform candidates of the meaning of Programmable Logic Controllers their purpose within an engineering context typical applications and the benefits they can bring.

  •   Introduction to Siemens PLC architecture and applications using TIA  portal
  •   Basic input and output control
  •   Timers
  •   Counters
  •   Memory locations
  •   Writing of code to control traffic light systems
  •   Demonstration of a working assembly system
