Level 6 qualifications are designed for senior sales managers or sales directors.
What you Study
All units are mandatory and include:
- Leading a culture for responsible selling
- Leadership and management in sales
- Planning and implementing sales and marketing strategy
- Sales force organisation
- Sales forecasting and budgeting
- Developing strategic relationships with major customers
- Managing sales-related change
- Developing and using customer insight
All units will be internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by the ISMM.
To achieve the Level 6 Diploma in Strategic Sales Management, 56 credits are required.
Duration and Attendance
The delivery method of the Level 6 Diploma in Strategic Sales Management may include open, distance, blended or online learning and will take approximately two years to complete
There are no specific entry requirements for these qualifications, however learners admitted to the programme should have sufficient experience, aptitude and ability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment. This may be satisfied with evidence of undertaking other qualifications in sales and marketing such as ISMM Level 4 or 5 with at least 5 years work experience at a senior level in sales.
A number of single-unit Level 6 Awards can be built up over time to progress to the Level 6 Certificate in Strategic Sales Management or the larger Level 6 Diploma in Strategic Sales Management.
The Level 6 qualifications provide opportunities for progression to other qualifications at the same or higher levels and they support learners in meeting the knowledge and skills requirements for employment within sales.
