COURSE INFORMATION
This course is designed to raise awareness of issues surrounding epilepsy and the immediate care of individuals at risk from epilepsy.

- Responsibilities under relevant legislation which underpin the care and health and safety of children with medical conditions such as epilepsy
- What epilepsy is, its triggers, and its treatments
- Recognise signs and symptoms and appropriate responses
- Your role in the care and aftercare of children with epilepsy
- Issues surrounding epilepsy and the immediate care of individuals at risk from epilepsy
- This is a 6-hour course designed to increase understanding of the issues around the care of children with epilepsy

- Formative assessment throughout tutorial sessions. You will be presented with a college certificate of attendance
- No prior knowledge is required by delegates
- It is not necessary to have a First Aid certificate
