Fife College has a wide range of fully funded training courses and bespoke programmes which employers can access through the Flexible Workforce Development Fund. SME’s can apply for training, up to the value of £5,000 and larger employers paying into the apprenticeship levy can apply for training up to the value of £15,000
The fund was set up to help Scottish businesses develop skills within their workforce to support growth, efficiency and profitability. Our Business Development Managers will guide employers through the application process, to fully understand your training needs and to design a training plan which offers flexible and effective training interventions which deliver tangible benefits to your organisation.
Applications for the 2022-23 Fund are now open. Applications and funding are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Following the revised Scottish Government budget, there has been a significant cut to the fund this year and we recommend employers apply promptly to secure their funding.
- Up-skill or re-skill your workforce
- Develop a talent pipeline and retain employees
- Access to high quality local and in house training
- Funding can be used as part-contribution towards training of a higher cost
- Third sector organisation are eligible as are volunteer staff
- A designated Business Development Manager to guide you through your application
Organisations can submit only one application for funding per year.
In order to secure funding organisations must submit an application to Fife College. We will support your organisation through this very straight forward process.
